These star ratings are nothing more than a projection of the potential a player has to contribute to a team, right?
Historically Saban's done alright at getting the most out of his players and helped them reach and even exceed their potential once they're in his system.
Stands to reason that if a kid has 4* potential starting out then maybe when they commit to Bama their potential could increase due to the process in place at Bama, resulting in an increase in star rating?
