But I think the jest of the thread is that Alabama doesn't need to use a whole lot of flashy recruiting stuff and they don't need to wear a kid out by contacting him non-stop to show interest in him and boost his ego.
Saban & staff are pretty methodical, they take a business like approach. They can do that because the program, facilities, and Saban's template for success sells itself.

Bessemer is really pro Auburn and it's been that way for a long time even with the proximity of McAdory to Tuscaloosa.

I don't want to hear any horseshite about Bama not recruiting dirty or giving extra benefits that aren't allowed.
There's dozens of examples of Bama lining the pockets of players that have become public and those are surely a tiny fraction of the incidents.
Bama is one of the worse offenders over decades and decades of shady ethics when it comes to football.

I don't any experience with this at all but I would absolutely agree that would be how Bama recruits.
Heck, I wouldn't be surprised that Bama's coaches don't talk to the kids' HS coaches to get an idea of what the kids like.

I think most would agree to say that if you are a major player at a major University you are getting something.
I would love to see all of the recent examples that you have if you have any.
