Hilarious! Delusional young man. Too bad Brandon did not perform with the many chances he had. Chalk it up to coaching or lack of game day talent but he SUCKED! How is this LSU's fault? And if North Louisiana really felt this way because of this f them too!!

wouldn't say I’m in LSU country anymore,” Rogers told Rivals.com’s Woody Wommack. “LSU is on bad terms with people around here. Brandon Harris was their baby. this is literally the first time I've heard this. Harris and Miles were despised by every person I know from NW and NE La

Saint bro you get on all posters for being dumb or ridiculous posters but as I read the Bama board you are constantly taking info from the lsu board and posting it to bama's recruiting board

Y'all post good info over there.

Getting different perspectives is the best way to "read between the lines" when it comes to recruiting.

... and we took three commits from Evangel on the same day earlier this spring???

Sounds like one recruit is not feeling it for LSU.

Rogers (No. 9 on our list of Top LA Prospects) was the topic of discussion among many Tiger fans yesterday because of a comment he made in a recent interview. “I wouldn't say I’m in LSU country anymore,” Rogers told Rivals.com’s Woody Wommack.

I wouldn't give up on him. Never give up. Find out his goals, desires and pursue him the best ones are always hard to get.

's perfectly fair for some of those residents and players to be upset. Miles and Cam were not good for Harris. His development over 3 years was putrid.

Actually, it isn't fair. Harris played early at LSU in front of 100k+ fans. He wasn't going to play at tOSU or get much coaching at Auburn. Plus, Les and Cam are gone and have been gone.

The QB coaching at Auburn may not have been great in recent years, but LSU is one place we can point to and say "At least our QB play hasn't been that bad"

Thankfully, Bama has never made any questionable coaching hires.

The difference is that you guys were not on severe probation. You could have and should have hired someone other than an ignorant piece of Cajun trash that is a proven failure as head coach. Since beating LSU benefits us I am in no position to complain however. Good job.

And Lane K. is not trash!!!!!!

Not sure why BAMA fans are so upset about hiring Coach "O"

You guys were hoping LSU would have Miles for ever with his predictable offense

Right now no one will unseat Alabama as the premier program in the country as long as BAMA finishes with top recruiting class every year.

Does not matter who LSU hires, if coach O can upset Alabama once every few years and knock bama out of the tile all is good. Miles simply gave you guys a bat and a tee ball instead of a fast pitch.

I updated the title to more accurately reflect the location in the state.

Except this:

Still really only means a few butthurt folks associated with one high school in the southern part of Bossier City.

True, but a lot of people who aren't from there think of the whole metro area as Shreveport, somewhat like Monroe and West Monroe. Although they are technically different cities, outside people tend to think of them as one and call them by the name of the main one.

Brandon Harris was offered a scholarship at Texas A&M and when he cancelled his visit because another guy committed, he wrote a letter to the A&M fans and handled himself with class. Not convinced he isn't still a raw talent.

fair enough. but I doubt you watched him play that much. I say that because I assume you watch your team play on Saturdays and not LSU.

Brandon Harris has a cannon for an arm and often throws one hell of a deep pass but he seldom threw an accurate short pass. he also seemed to key in on one WR and not have good field vision nor pocket presence.

I do, however, understand where you are not convinced he's not a talent and he will get yet another chance to prove that. believe me when I say he's had plenty of chances to prove he was the man and just didn't. I hope he makes it at Carolina.

There was this also - the second paragraph down from the one quoted in the OP. Doesn't sound like even Brandon Harris former high school's players are upset about what happened with BH.

quote:

As for Rogers’ friend and teammate, five-star wide receiver Terrace Marshall (No. 1 on our list of Top LA Prospects), that’s another story. A couple of people with knowledge of the situation have told me that they would be very surprised if Marshall didn’t end up at LSU, and that’s even if his teammate, Rogers, chooses TCU. The only thing I think would prevent Marshall from signing with LSU is if he doesn’t like what he sees from the Tigers’ offense during the season. He is expected to make his decision in late December.
