A good bit of SEC teams have played Clemson lately and it didn't turn out to well.

OP should do 2011-2013 records versus teams that finish the season unranked next; Alabama's the only team with an undefeated record in that statistic.
Wow.

OP should only post stats that have BAMA at #1!!!! ROLL TIDE!!

I don't think this means what you think this means.
Why doesn't it? 2011 LSU, 2012 Texas A&M, 2013 Auburn, and 2013 Oklahoma all finished ranked in the Top 6 of the AP and Coaches Polls.
LSU would be the only other contender, but they lost to 2013 Ole Miss. Texas A&M and Missouri both lost to unranked teams that finish unranked in 2011.
South Carolina lost to 2011 Auburn and 2013 Tennessee. Do I have to detail the rest?

You South Carolina fans make me sick. Clemson plays in the All Cupcake conference. When you only have to get up for 2 regular season games—Florida State and South Carolina—and your bowl, what's the problem?
Clemson wouldn't be ranked as highly at seasons' ends if they'd played in the SEC West annually with South Carolina as their Thanksgiving weekend rival.
Alabama has lost to 4 teams that all finished ranked in the Top 6. South Carolina lost to 6 teams, 3 of which finished unranked, but 2013 Georgia shouldn't be included because they were playing Top 10 football in September.

One Bama fan comments about Clemson and like 5 Cocks responded.

State's lost 42 straight to Top 20 teams. Mullen has 3 wins vs. teams ranked 21-25.
The difference in Mullen and Croom is that Croom would slip up and beat someone but lose to Tulane, Maine, et al. Mullen beats the teams we are supposed to beat with absolute consistency.

I mean, you have a very good point. South Carolina's record is impressive, but they sometimes slip up against teams they have no business losing to. At least when Bama loses, it's to an elite (finishing in the top 6) team.

Go back 4 seasons. It will help A&M's #s.

Except that reasonable people look at end of season rankings

You're right. I cannot disagree with you there. But it is all part of the process of learning to play as the favorite ... being the so-called hunted.
We're learning as we go. We'll learn to handle the high ranking and success eventually. I think it has to do with learning to have a killer instinct as a program.
