There is literally not a decent place in Arkansas with the possible exception of Hot Springs. Fayetteville is a dump.

Bert lost some weight on his trip to Oxford last year. That tells us all we need to know.

Why does everyone think Ajax is that good? If you grew up in the south its the exact same food your mother or grandmother makes. Mom just makes it better than Ajax.

Snack Bar.

It's on Open Table and reasonable priced mid-ranged southern dining with some LA flavor.

Good cocktails too.

If you're lucky enough to get your grandma's or mom's cooking regularly, you can probably skip Ajax. Otherwise, it's a hell of a substitute.

Tell them to hop off of I10 at Pascagoula and grab a shrimp poboy at Bozo's. It will surpass anything they can get in New Orleans.

I had that fairly new seafood place last time I was there. Don't remember the name. It was solid.

Boure (Boo-ray), McEwan's, City Grocery, Lenora's--all on The Square. Old Venice for pastas and pizzas. The first four have a variety of seafood, beef, pork dishes, salads and soups. Oxford's Square restaurants are very good.

This guy was asking for legit recommendations, not B.S.
