They hate the """""""""""" S I T U A T I O N """"""""" that allowed him to: Come to Baton Rouge sight unseen; let Dolphins owner Wayne Huizenga land his helicopter on Saban's front lawn and dupe Saban into thinking Miami would be a good deal for him; accept another coaching job that was mind-bogglingly lucky for him to be open (after vehemently denying he had any interest and would never be the coach.)

Alabama is only 4th all-time in NCAA victories.
Tennessee is 9th, Georgia 11th, LSU 12th, Auburn 15th all-time in number of NCAA football victories. LSU is 8th nationally all-time in bowls.
Notre Dame, Michigan, Oklahoma, Ohio State and possibly Texas surpass Alabama in all-time CFB lore.

This is, without a doubt, the dumbest statement I have ever read on this web site, and that's saying a LOT.
The only team in that list that comes close to number of championships is Notre Dame. None of those teams except possibly Notre Dame have had as much success with as many coaches as Alabama has (5 title winning coaches, 4 with multiples, and thats even if you just go by the numbers that the haters use) leading to a greater overall quality of program regardless of who is at the helm.
And I will never understand peoples obsession with Texas. Can someone please tell me what it is that Texas has ever done to put them so high in the minds of football fans besides win their conference a bajillion times, which is only a few more times than Alabama has won the SEC.
They have a total of 4 national titles and only 1 in over 40 years. I dont get it.

The same reason their daddy, Granddaddy and great Granddaddy hated Alabama.
Alabama is the bell cow of Southern Football, the most successful team in the history of the game when factoring in wins, championships etc.
They hate what they can't beat. They danced in the street when Roy Kramer thought he had finally destroyed the Tide...lol.
