Yikes your red/black colored glasses needs cleaning.... Florida is not spelled South Carolina.

You're welcome.

It's really early in the season for this type of post.

Fair point, Florida fans do say it. I leave them out since they have more of a right to say so. Florida is the only SEC team with a winning record against Richt.

Thankfully Muschamp is doing everything he can to help us with that.

UGA has the ability to play strong for 4 quarters.

SC hasn't shown that ability.

UGA wins time of possession and beats SC down in 4th qtr.

Awesome, so we'll keep it close the first 3 quarters.

USC can win because it's in Columbia, it's UGA/USC, and USC isn't as bad as everyone is making them out to be.

That was Pruitt, baw.

So when we lose it is all Richt and not Grantham, and when we win it is all Pruitt and not Richt.

Aaaaaand, Pruittt now coaches the offense, too?

Well, he HAS "pulled a Richt" multiple times against us (specifically 02, 03, and 05).

Georgia is a Power Run team, ECU and A&M are up-tempo Passing teams, UGA knows thats what gave SCars D problems. SCar has always played better vs run Teams.

I believe UGA will try more no-huddle packages to try to keep SCars D honest and off-balance. but Gurley and Crew arent designed for this style and will get exhausted. The GA boys are use to subbing.

UGA will be unsuccessful in this and depending on how the game looks at the half. this could be an UPSET.

Someone hasn't been paying attention.

Richt was the original uptempo offensive mind in the SEC until a certain Pumpkin had the SEC rules changed to disallow an effective hurry up, no huddle offense.

I would also point you to a more recent game like Clemson where UGA was going no huddle quite a bit until they were ahead and went to eating up clock.

UGA can play either way very effectively. They have been going hurry up and no huddle for portions of games the last few years.

UGA is also by far the more deep team just about everywhere except perhaps the WR corps this game ( although I have heard that SCAR isn't completely healthy there either).

I think's it not a bad strategy, but we need to take it to the extreme. We had a 10 minute drive last week. We should do 4-5 of those this week, that will greatly increase our chances. So now that the easy part is settled, what else can we do?

This O/U line of 60 is perplexing to me though. I could see the game go 27-17 or 42-31 about as easily either way. I'm not going to wager on the O/U this week.

True. History says it will be low scoring. But I think both teams have the ability to put points on the board.

If it's a high scoring game I don't see our offense being able to keep up.

But shite, Garcia kept up in Athens until the very end. So who the hell knows?

2012 was a high scoring game, but just for SC, uga didn't want to score.
