Any thoughts on the over/under at 60? I have a hard time imagining it's gonna be that high-scoring of a game, especially with the predicted weather...2002 comes to mind...

Two parts:

USCe unable to control UGA running game. UGA moves the ball with ease unless USCe totally stacks the box with 8-9 guys, opening up the opportunity for big plays on play action against inexperienced DBs.

UGA pass rush not as effective on the road without the help of crowd noise. This leaves the young UGA DBs exposed more. USCe has success in the downfield passing game.

That's how you get above 60. Not hard to imagine really

We all agree Gurley is a great back, but to assume we won't control the run game at all is a bit premature and presumptuous. Georgia doesn't exactly have an outstanding track record rushing the ball against us at home.

If the weather is as bad as predicted, the passing game will be hampered on both sides.

Spurrier would want nothing more than to get his 201st win to tie Dooley against the Dawgs

When the came out with the O/U of 58 for the aTm game, I thought that was one of the best instances of free money that I've seen in a while.

This O/U line of 60 is perplexing to me though. I could see the game go 27-17 or 42-31 about as easily either way. I'm not going to wager on the O/U this week.

I'm not assuming anything. Just explaining how there could be 60 combined points.

How do you figure? Are you really that confident to say there is zero chance South Carolina wins?

It's been said many times, but it is so interesting that the "Richt gonna Richt" statements come predominantly from three fan bases: Tennessee, Auburn, and South Carolina.

Mark Richt has dominated all three schools. Combined record of 25-14. Does anyone else find that odd?

I don't think I've seen any in this thread. However you don't think that's been a common sentiment among your fan base in general?

To hear people discuss the series you'd think Spurrier has lost to Richt once or twice. The numbers are that Spurrier is 4-5 vs. UGA while at South Carolina.

Obviously you know that, but the media and message board narrative is often very different. At least to my admittedly biased eyes.
