Realistic?

I don't really get the LSU hype at all.

Big win?

Ole Piss? @ home? @ night?

meh, not very impressive.

Come on man. I'm Purple and Gold all the way but you can't believe this. This is an outstanding Bama team, loaded with talent and well coached. Yes, we have a decent shot at winning but it will take a great effort. We're going to get Bama's best shot.
Our Tigers have destroyed some bad defenses but Bama is not So Miss, Missouri or Ole Miss. Of course we aren't chopped liver (er aTm). We have talent and motivation plus Tiger Stadium.
If the OL plays well and Etling can keep the chains moving with an effective passing game then it will be a contest assuming we don't give them anything cheap.
Bama is good but I think they are somewhat overhyped on offense but I wish we were stronger on the D line.

I honestly can't see how LSU can win this game.

LSU D/Death Valley vs Alabama O (advantage LSU)
Alabama D vs LSU O/Death Valley (advantage Alabama)
Special Teams (even)
Coaching (even) At least on this night which will be as much about passion, emotion and revenge vs process, confidence and history.
Talent (even)

25-24 either way, who knows, but it will be a game for the ages. As OP said earlier, both teams will be tested.

Vegas does not always use 3 points as HFA. I can't find it, but I have read that LSU is given 5 points. I did find this:

Las Vegas bookies' average line: 5.08 points
Las Vegas bookies' median line: 5 points
Las Vegas bookies' mode (most frequent) line: 3 points
Home field advantage: 3 to 5.08 points

I didn't realize that was the case. Thanks for the info on that.

Makes no difference where the game is played.

Actually the difference is anywhere from 3 to 5 points in favor of the home team, realistically speaking.

24-20. Just think LSUs defense gets the job done and Leonard finds enough holes.

If our tackles can block with the help of our tight ends then we have a decent shot. If not then our QB will be on the ground alot. Bama wins a close one 28-24

I think it's close for a half and Bama wins going away by 24 pymts. No way LSU stays I this great late.

The key to this game is LSU's Oline versus Bama's Dline. The Tigers do not have a great Oline thus Bama has the advantage. I don't think the Tigers are going to score enough to win. Bama 24-13.

Bama obviously the better team & should be favored. that said the best team doesn't always win & LSU has at least a puncher's chance.

LSU has beaten Ole Miss, MSU and Mizzou.

They've lost to every team they've played that had a pulse.

31-17 Bama

Thats true, and our Offense didn't have a pulse in those games either.

I don't blame intellectual idiots for not watching LSU every Saturday, but there are clear differences since Miles has been fired.

This game will be close.

This is how I feel. LSU's Oline is not healthy and that is bad news.

I actually think we will win because of Bama mistakes at the QB position. Its their only real weakness on O.
