Mike Gundy would be a hell of a hire but I doubt he would leave his alma mater.

In all seriousness, I wonder if Rick Neuheisel's phone has been ringing lately.

Realistic LSU names

If only the job was prestigious enough to attract the interest of a legendary John L. Smith type coach.....

Hey, not a bad fallback name for when choices 1-25 inevitably fall through.

There's a rumor going around, and I'm not saying it's true and I'm not saying it isn't, that Hootie has offered to take the job because he wants to be the first man to fail as HC at three different SEC programs. He's even offered to work for free. Alleva is said to be "very intrigued" by this offer.

Make of it what you will.

Larry Fedora is the best they'll get.

LSU is not getting Fedora
Why would he want to go from the ACC Coastal to the SEC West
Face it, as long as Sabin is at Alabama, only 2nd rate coaches seeking a paycheck will take the job.

Well, hell, let's just call Mike Dubose. Then again, never mind. We already let another Bammer run our program into the ground in the early 90's.

And that would be a quantum leap from Les.

You all bashed him for being stupid, so there is only one way.....up

In reality, LSU is an elite job with a honey hole for recruiting. Keep talking shite to troll us, but you know the truth. LSU will end up with a marquise hire.

Brohm would be a hell of a hire. $800k and we could probably get him cheap and hire whoever the frick we wanted as assistants with the leftover change.

OK. We like the big guy and all but if you want to pay the salary for our next HC for two or three years on the buyout money we would get knock yourselves out.

We already get most of the money in Louisiana via Walmart but we would be happy to take more money from you.
