A lot closer than I expected! I'm a CHS, Cleburne TX '75 graduate. For me it is

and have been here ever since.

There may be info you don't have about Newitt Vick available at the Old Courthouse Museum or possibly the Vicksburg Military Park. Next time I'm at either one I'll look into it, and will be happy to send you whatever I find. If I do find something I'll bug you for a real name/address.

Navarre holds a special place in my heart, by the way. Was returning from honeymoon in Florida in '95, Navarre was our last stop. The missus and I went out to dinner from the hotel while the hotel kicked everyone out because of Erin, we returned, never noticing that the hotel was vacant. The next morning we had a bit of a surprise. After watching the Weather Channel for a bit (TV still miraculously worked) I had it all figured out at what time I should move the car to the other side of the hotel to get out of the high winds, and just as I figured that all out a 55-gallon trash barrel came flying by our 3rd story window. So I stopped worrying about the car.
