The only thing that gives me pause on purchasing more is the haircuts. Those 8 year olds in China need to watch some of our acclaimed Internet videos and learn our traditions before they head to the shop to make the next batch

A&M is under contract with Adidas, so you're just going to have to deal with it.

I don't have to deal with shite, I'm '79. Having a lot of fun with '82 yell leader, though.

Of course not.

FWIW, most of the comments on TexAgs have been along the lines of "Almost as gay as the corps". Which should give all of the numbnuts here that think A&M is one big happy family a moment to reflect. But probably not.

Just think, there are some board room executives out there who got this pitched and thought it would be a money maker.

The doll is funny as hell, but you hit on the scary part. Those are the same guys figuring out whether to build Pat Henry a new outdoor track stadium or let him go to t.u.

Ken doll? Oh hell yes!

At least you are open about it. Most aggies aren't.

I won't buy 10 (not that you did, either), but have bought one to carry on with this nonsense/ribbing when '82 yell leader comes to my house for the Ole Miss game. Thanks for the suggestion.

The really important one is "Beat the Hell out of <whoever>". Let's just go ahead and substitute "Bama" for <whoever>. The others can be picked up on easily enough w/o knowing the signals, but you need to be on beat for "Beat..." for it to have the correct effect, which to me has always been fairly awesome. But I may be biased.

I know you've gotta be serious about the first part, because nobody else (outside of Vicksburg) would know the name. That's pretty damn cool. I'm not sure why Rev. Vick would like for me to GTFO Vicksburg, though. He was gone long, long before MSU was founded.

But just in case this is what I think it is:

Absolutely a Grandfather way down the line. And yes a Methodist Minister that built and then helped save much of the City from the Yankee burnings.. Glad you know the name too!! That is cool! My sister was named after him and I grasp that heritage. I'm just jiving you on the GTFO out part.. Rock on my friend!

Just a guess based on what I think is the mean age here, but I'd bet I moved here before you were born. 1982. Not that that's important. I'm still not and never will be a native, I get that. But I love it here. I came here in the Army and could not leave.

Anybody with a brain in Vicksburg knows your ancestor's name. He endured a lot, fought for a lot, accomplished a lot. I'm happy to hear one of his descendents has not forgotten.

Awesome! That makes us close to the same age..

I have some Delta roots for sure.

Missing some Solly's tamales right now!!!

I really want to know a lot more about him!I still have some Delta kin folks I can talk to; and some ancestry researchers among them. Thanks for your friendship and acknowledgement.. Truthfully, I didn't think you'd know what I was talking about to begin with.
