The only team that really lined up and destroyed them was LSU.

Arkansas and TCU were handed 20-40 yard fields all night by our shitty offense constantly turning the ball over. The defense still played pretty well in both those games, all things considered.

Coaching doesn't matter at LSU, you'll always just have better players because you're Louisiana and have a defensive tradition.

Rob Smith is a badass. He will be moving on to an NFL cord. job before long I fear.

I was hoping Les would drive the cash truck to his doorstep when Chavis ran away. The Arkansas athletic department did a good job in making him a priority. I hope the NFL comes calling soon

Texas A&M's defense is going to be so good

That's a good one. A&M's defense will be average, at best. Chavis isn't going to make the defense that much better just by his presence. It's going to take time and better recruiting. I'm not saying that Chavis isn't a great coordinator, because he is, but he's an average recruiter and the defense won't improve that much this year.

That's the dumbest thing I've read on here in a while. Of course this is coming from a UK fan.

We may have to back up the Brinks truck if that happens. He may prove to be worth $1.5+million. We will
Write the check.

Steele should be in the top 3 just because he came from Bama. That's the way rankings work isn't it?

TCU's average starting position was basically on our 20 yard line. Defense did the best they could.

Robb Smith at #6 is too low. The turnaround in the defense from 1st half to 2nd half was incredible. And it will carry over into this year. Arkansas should play damn good D this year.

frickING LOL. How is Randy Shannon not on this list? He had a top 10 defense at Miami as DC 5 out of 6 years.

Maybe they didn't include him because he is associate head coach and co-defensive coordinator?
