Guice looks good. But so did Jeremy Johnson when he was backing up Nick Marshall.

I don't think anyone is asking Guice to throw

JJ threw well in a backup role last season That's why he was hyped the way he was

Guice does stuff I've never really seen a RB do before. I'm not crowning his arse right now or anything, but he reminds me a lot like Chubb in his lower body strength, balance and lateral quickness. He also just flat out runs like a pyscho.

So LSU needs a once in a generation RB to better than 9th in a down sec this year?

We'd still be 4-0 heading into this weekend.

What a dumb thread.

Lsu is ranked #7 in the nation yet is ranked #9 in the SEC all for losing one player. LOL

3-1 most likely. I think State would have won

I mean, it is clear people are not watching our games. There are quite a few runs per game where LF7 isnt even touched.

Our Oline is fricking nasty this year.

Who's our best player?

No, seriously, I want to know.

Weatherly, IMO. You've got a NFL caliber TE, and the DE that has the crazy last name. Abubike or whatever.

Take your pick.

I was down on A&M before the season because I wasn't sold on Sumlin's system being able to develop players. I was way wrong on that

I'd like to think that it's good player development, but neither Kirk nor Garrett were raw 3-stars. Both of these guys were men among boys in high school and are natural athletic freaks.

So without Garret we can't beat UF, Ole Miss or UGA? Not sure that's correct

You probably couldn't beat them with Garrett

I'd say Azubike and Weatherly are running about even if I had to pick, though Weatherly has a higher ceiling IMO. But, yeah, if we had a vote for MVP today, it would almost certain be a DE or LB. Our offense is just garbage.

What would the SEC look like if each team's best player went down (or down swinging) tomorrow?

That's been our whole season :(

There's a better than good chance his production would have been replaced in that game. That was a pedestrian performance by his standards, and it wasn't like the Auburn game where he had runs that not many backs good make.

LSU would be 9th if you remove him from the lineup and assume none of his production is replaced. It's a dumb assumption, but I guess if that's what you're saying, good list.
