players not named Fournette have 472 rushing yards on 88 attempts for a 5.36 ypc average. That ypc would put LSU 2nd in the league behind only Georgia. Players not named Fournette average more rushing yards per game than Missouri's entire team

Did I get transported to the offseason? What is up with all these shitty threads?

We're already without our best player (JWill) and best WR (Hatcher).

Which is why there wasn't any change. Are you upset that I didn't have Arkansas lower?

I'm plenty aware of who Ingram is as a Saints fan. He does not belong in the same sentence as Bush, Tebow, Newton, Young*, Peterson*, Manziel, Griffin, McFadden*, etc. He's much closer to your other good backs you've had.

This has got to be the 100th "LSU WOULD SUCK WITHOUT FOURNETTE" thread I've seen this season.

You must not be checking the board very much. There are at least 100 every week, if not every day.

A&M without Garrett

Garrett is in a tie with Kirk. If I had to choose one to lose and one to keep, it'd be a toss-up between those two. Garrett has been a monster, especially when it matters most, but Kirk is arguably the best receiver in the SEC and is killing it in the return game.

Probably their Freshman QB. Their defense is filled with solid roll players though so it's tough to pinpoint one player

What is a roll player? Pillsbury dough boy?

A&M has a lot of high end talent which is why I think if any of their best 2-3 players went down that there is enough talent on the roster to sustain success.

I was down on A&M before the season because I wasn't sold on Sumlin's system being able to develop players. I was way wrong on that

The drop off from Fournette to Derrius Guice, who I'm sure your not familiar with but will be very familiar with soon, is not as much as you think. Guice is a true freshman and is probably better than Fournette was at this point last season. Not saying Guice is going to make people forget about Fournette, but he may be even better before it is all said and done. Back to back to back Heisman trophys: 2015 Fournette, 2016 Fournette, 2017 Guice.

Guice looks good. But so did Jeremy Johnson when he was backing up Nick Marshall.

The great thing about being as stacked as we are, even losing Fournette wouldn't derail us very much.

So without Garret we can't beat UF, Ole Miss or UGA? Not sure that's correct...

While LSU has very capable backups, it always hurts to lose depth.

2nd string gets to benefit from LF wearing down the defense. Your 2nd string may be as good as 1st but how much of a drop is there from 2nd to 3rd?

It's also hard to tell how good a back is when they go from a handful of carries to half the carries or more. The 3rd string guy that gets 5 carries is fresh every down.

If LF goes down, how is that guy gonna do carries 10-15 or 15-20?

Just based on current results. I like how those teams look despite Georgia's disaster last week. A&M's schedule is kinda backloaded. We'll know more about their team then

we really don't have a 2nd and 3rd

Guice and Williams are kinda like co-2nd stringers?

Both are damn good
