Conference records only losses in order of highest percentage. Obviously anyone can beat anyone, but one has to take a view.

Alabama will go 7-1 or 6-2. Without a steady quarterback, I feel certain they won’t run the table. However too much talent and too good of coaching to predict any lower. That defense will be nasty. O-line is not as dominant as in the past, but, they are still the Tide. Potential losses are Georgia, Auburn, Arkansas, LSU and Ole Miss. Tennessee will be tough, but they refuse to lose.

Arkansas will go 6-2 to 3-5. They have turned the corner, but how much. Teams will get up for them, but they play a physical style that not all can match. They will be a tough team to beat, but don’t have the dynamics to win the conference. The wide spread is based on the confidence they have gained, but also teams still believe that they can beat them. Potential losses: Auburn, A&M, Alabama, Ole Miss & LSU.

Auburn could go 8-0 to 5-3. If their quarterback is as good as advertised and with Muschamp at the helm of the defense, they will be the class of the league. Not sure how they imploded during the 2014, but don’t expect a similar slide. Once they get their act together they will improve as the season goes along and the QB gets that experience. Think they get revenge on A&M for a game they gave away last year. Potential losses: Alabama, UGA, Ole Miss and maybe LSU. Hard to lose to a team that you skull drug the prior year.

LSU could go 6-2, 4-4. This team is better than last year’s squad, so that is why I put the floor at four losses. A lot of talent on this team. While quarterback is extremely important, I think the x-factor is Cameron. He learned a lot last year and will tailor the offense more around what the QB can actually do. Steele will be fine in his first year. He has done so in the past, and I am more worried about the D in year three as it truly becomes his. Depth is also an issue on front 7. This is a team that could be in the hunt, but I am not convinced. They have two tough stretches and I expect them to go .500 in those 6 games. Potential losses: Auburn, Ole Miss, Alabama, Arkansas and A&M.

Ole Miss could go 6-2 to 4-4. Last year their Achilles heel was depth. They are getting more as the recruiting classes continue to gain momentum. Quarterback is such an issue that I don’t know if you are better catching them early or late where depth could hurt them again. However, they do have a lot of returning talent across the board. One of the more dynamic teams in the conference. Coaching staff schemes well and they have real playmakers that the coaches will find a way to get the ball in their hands. Let’s see if they catch lightening in a bottle again and if they can overcome the injuries that are a part of life in this conference. Potential losses: Alabama, Auburn, Arkansas, LSU, A&M and State.

State: could go 2-6 to 5-3. Sorry, too many losses on the line and in the backfield for me. Despite having the most proven triggerman in the conference, they lost so much depth that allowed them to really put it on teams last year. They will still be a fine football team, but damn this division is tough. Any chinks in the armor and others will exploit it. And this is a line of scrimmage league. With so many upper classman last year they just believed in themselves. Watching them against LSU last year you could see their confidence growing. These guys fight like crazy, but a lot of folks want revenge and will be up for this game. Dak will have to do too much and last year when teams schemed against just him they were vulnerable.

A&M could go 3-5 to 5-3 I know that is harsh, but it is a harsh world. Look for definite improvement on defense. You know Chavis is good when a takes a defense that looks like Swiss cheese and turns it into the highest rated in the conference during the season. He has his faults, but he is good. If the offense gets it together against the great defenses, and their defensive depth holds out then they could be a player. I just don’t think it does. No way they beat Bama, who skull drugged them last year and Auburn wants that arse. Sorry AU for all the comments coming your way. This team will be better overall, but you have to be better than your competition. Not there yet. Other Potential losses: Arkansas, LSU, Mizzou and Ole Miss.

I actually did read it. It's just another LSU fan selling his team. Save your time.

I enjoyed the read, fwiw. I think LSU's ceiling is more like Auburn's, but all in all i agree with your analysis for the most part.

There are a lot of immature posters here. I guess they'd rather talk about LSU adding gender neutral bathrooms and "What teams jimmies has your fanbase rustled the most this off season" than have real football discussion.
