Arkansas has won it's one National Title, went to two Final Fours, 3 Sweet 16's, 12 tournament appearances and had two regular season titles and one tourney title since we joined the SEC.

I think it's safe to say that we would still be at the top. Probably only behind Kentucky and Florida in the last 20 years.

1.uk
2.arky
3.uf
4.LSU
5.utk
6.bama
7.state
8.vandy
9.uga
10.usce
11.auburn
12.ole miss

thats using his point system and just a guess

Im sure UF would be ahead of Arky for the last 20, OM would be higher, USC higher and prob UGA lower

SWC titles should not count as much as an SEC title. Not saying to completely disregard it, but that is a signifigant grey area. This would be like awarding Alabama more points for an SEC West Championship over UK's second place finish in the east.

i dont know uf has the edge in nc's over arky but it would be pretty close.

i still think ole miss is dead last no matter what they only have 31 points all time so it cant be that much lately.

UF should be number two.

Arkansas racked up a bunch of conference titles in a joke league.

This system rewards a programs longevity, not just lately.

I would have to put a magnificent increase on National Title points to get Florida ahead of LSU.

Lately matters a great deal though. UF has played in 3 championship games and won 2 titles since 2000.

It blows my mind to think about how Florida was not competetive in the two major sports until the last 20 years. How was that even possible?

UF is 9th in the country in total wins over the last 50 years in football. There were some lean years, but UF has been pretty competitive ever since AC was invented.

My guess is they got those 31 from when their old PG was coach, recently they made the NCAA couple times with a sweet 16 I think....Auburn has been total garbage since 85 ish

What has USC done to be above us? We had some great years under Harrick, Jirsa, and Tubby. 1 Tourney title, several NCAA appearances, etc. What has SC done other than win the NIT?

The SEC wasn't exactly a powerhouse league itself. It was Kentucky, sometimes LSU and then a bunch of scrub teams. Arkansas more than held it's own on the national stage at the time which is what matters in basketball.

Yes, all time we're the worst program in the SEC. That's not that tough to imagine.

I do feel though that good things are around the corner. They've announced that they're planning a new arena and some great hires were made this offseason. I think that Ole Miss should be more competitive over the next few years (note: that means like top-half of the SEC, not winning the conference or anything).

Ole Miss has never been big on basketball. No surprise we are last. Hell we are just now deciding to catch up in terms of facilities.

There are several years in the old days Arkansas would have won the SEC just as easily as they did the SWC. Are you 21 and don't know any better? Hell, in 89-90, UK didn't even make the NCAA Tourney field.

Basketball wasn't crap in the SEC until Arkansas came in and shook the place up. It was Kentucky and all the other schools were just biding time til Spring football.

You need to study up on your SEC basketball history.

I wouldn't get too excited. I'm not so sure how official any of these rankings actually are.

In the last decade they should be #1 but before 2000 Florida was nothing in basketball.

If you base this list off of NCAA tournament appearances and results and omit conference results then the list still looks about the same with Florida maybe passing LSU.

Do some research.
