I like the historic nature of Bama's helmet and am glad they haven't felt the need to change it, but I don't think it's the best. Also think that Florida's helmet is way too high. Other than that, I'm okay with the list.

This list is garbage. The only reason Bama's helmet is red with just a number is that they could not think of a mascot for an algal bloom

Gives Missouri "high marks" for constantly changing their helmet, but gives Alabama #1 for using the exact same design for half a century or more.

Alabama has one of the worst helmets. It plays in to their overall "look" which I wouldn't rank as the worst, I'd actually rank it quite high, but the helmet individually is boring.

Actually looks a bit cleaner than their normal helmet. Generally the gimmicks suck, and this one isn't great, but it's actually an upgrade.

The "F" isn't that clean of a look, IMO, and why the constantly change the font. Like the white, but overall the other Florida helmet is way better.

A cool logo and decent color scheme. If you can pull of gold, it's decent.

In general that orange and white make a terrible overall uniform, that even thin black outlines have never been able to solve. A horrible color scheme in general, but when just on the helmet, it's not that bad. Especially with that T being a solid logo.

Bama's aren't going to win any style points. But that's the whole point. You don't mess with iconic, legendary stuff. The Yankees will always have their pin stripes. The Lakers will always be gold and purple. The Cowboys will always have that plain-jane star on their helmet. Bama will always have crimson helmets with a white stripe and numbers. It's perfect in it's simplicity. That said, here's my flawless list:

I agree with this. Some schools uniforms are iconic and should never be messed with. Bama, Penn St, Michigan, Notre Dame, USCw.
Then there's schools that never where the same thing twice in a season.
I like LSU's uniforms as a whole, the helmet by itself isn't that spectacular.
I put Bama as number 1 helmet. There is instant recognition when you see one.

Whatever the uniforms/helmets they wore in the Cotton Bowl against Arkansas were my favorite Mizzou unis.

Alabama's helmet is the black Tuxedo of college football. Unchanged in years because it's a great look
