Don't know what sites are the best but I know what the worst is: TigerNet.

Cockytalk is also well run and clean, but there just isn't the traffic

That site makes me ashamed to be a Gamecocks fan.

Ray Hines' Gator Country is the number one college sports message board and web site in the country. That's a well-known fact.

The reason TIDEFANS has such huge numbers is because it's been around for just over 15 years to my knowledge.

That place is ancient. And so are the old geezers who run it. I hate forums that advertise themselves to be "family forums".....it's the internet you dumb frick. 10 year old kids visiting a sports forum aren't gonna care if you use the word shite cause chances are their dad and mother use it 24/7.

I'm agreeing with this. You can actually talk about football there.

If were going by pure traffic and postinf activity then texags is number 1. If were going by actual community of posters, website layout, moderation, etc then texags is the worst

If you were on TexAgs I would award you a Blue Star. But of course if you posted that on TexAgs it would already be deleted and you would be banned for life. They do not take criticism well.

They are all hat and no cattle.

I'm a Buckeye fan but I lurk on TD everyday. Great site layout, lots of different forums and a nice cross section of fans.

ShaggyBevo is great just for the humor....especially the MS paints by Thujone!

Tigerdroppings is good and active. The ESPN boards are shite now, but they used to be good.

Volnation is good.

Gatorcountry has been better, it got an influx of posters once gatorsports shut down their forums.

There are a lot of good boards out there.

Meh, there are about ten million posts between the 2 football boards on texags. Texags is at the bare minimum on par with TD when it comes to posting activity

Texags is really all about the Premium content. The amount of writers they have and video production is pretty amazing. It's also an incredibly powerful group when it comes to how quickly they can get a message out Aggies far and wide. When another fan website can pull this off in barely a week we'll talk:

There's thin-skinned, and then there are chubby individuals with pubic hair on their chin who are so thin-skinned that they can't handle any criticism of anything, anywhere.

These are idiots that censored the words "AggyArk" and "secrant.com" claiming they were "competitor sites".

I was in the espn boards a long time ago, several years while in college at LSU

I don't remember espn boards ever being good

The myspace sports forums use to be pretty good back then, pretty similar to this but with less people and a little slower paced
