Yeah, they all are. Every thread started on this forum ranking them Auburn fans massively overrate 2010, LSU fans massive overrate 2003, Alabama fans massively overrate 2009, etc.

Homers gonna homer.

At least USA Today isn't biased to one particular fan base.

Lol that's bad.

I think 2011 Bama (or LSU for that matter) destroys any team on that list except for 2001 Miami. They were pretty legit.

There's about 5 or 6 more teams I'd put ahead of 2013 FSU

That one looks much better. Texas still too high IMO.

Agree...except for 2010 Auburn. Should be 2008 Florida.

And not like 99% of the posters on the SEC rant?

I'm sure the majority want the list to be:

1. Bama
2. Bama
3. LSU
4. Bama
5. Florida
6. LSU
7. UT
8. Auburn...

ETC...

2011 Bama and 2008 Florida should top that list out. You could switch out Florida and USC but that 2008 Florida destroyed everyone in it's path after about the 5th game of the year.

The two most battle-tested teams rank at the bottom. Both teams defeated 5 opponents who finished in the Top 15.

I get LSU being #16 by virtue of losing twice, but 2010 Auburn at #14 is ridiculous.

IMO EVERY undefeated national champ has to be over every 1 or 2 loss champ.

Personal opinion of course, but I think if you lose a game, you shouldn't get the respect of teams who went unscathed.

And, homerism on tap, how is OSU 02 so low on this list. If Miami 02 won the NCG, where would they be? Top 5

Yep, Miami choked. OSU barely beat everyteam on the schedule. It was a good season but it took a ton of luck and things to go OSU's way in alot of games. All teams have luck but that one was just one of those teams that refused to lose even when outmanned. Good team but probably don't beat that Miami team but 2 out of 10.....maybe.

So when Auburn and LSU are "battle tested" and win, they should be highly ranked, but when OSU beats 4 teams in the top 20, and 2 who finished in the top 10, they are a fluke?

And OSU was not out-manned. The core of that team had the most players drafted in any NFL draft ever with 14 in 2004.

2011 Bama and LSU have to be the greatest teams of the century, of course Bama by a small margin, but both teams were fricking loaded. As for actual champions I would rank the top 5 as such:
1. 2011 Bama
2. 2001 Miami
3. 2009 Bama
4. 2003 LSU
5. 2005 Texas
