If you want to consider all time program performance the tie breaker to make the numbers work go ahead.

well Auburn & UGA played the first official game. I have not done research into the beginnings of their football program so I can't speak to when their football team got its start.

I have done research into Alabama so I did the best I could with what information I had available at the time.

Ranking SEC teams by first football season

Based on my research, Alabama started practicing first of the 1892 teams.

And there were 10,000 people there to watch it...

Carolina fielded its first football team on Christmas Eve, in Charleston, SC, in 1892 versus Furman.

Georgia's football program began in 1892, when Dr. Charles Herty, a chemistry professor and former player at Johns Hopkins, assembled a team and arranged a game against Mercer University on January 30, 1892.

Unless South Carolina was practicing for well over a year I don't think they started before Georgia. Both quotes came from Wiki.

UGA tries to tell us we started playing football in 1905, obviously they would know over us.

yall are always saying how bad the school is, so maybe they are wrong

Bama claiming unwarranted amount of national titles = "well the school claims them, so we will! It's official! Got 15!?"

Bama claims something that is different than what fan believes = "well that's not what I think so I guess the school is just wrong then"

Interesting.

That's because UGA played UF in football in 1905, which would be hard to do if UF didn't have a team.

UF's first year in Gainesville was 1906. Whatever happened before then wasn't varsity level.

Considering we beat you in that game that UF tries to deny occurred...Yes, we would.
