Tennessee - 13.2 average - 35-28 overall - (15-25)SEC
Ms State - 26.6 average - 40-25 overall - (20-20)SEC

Dan Mullen really is one of the best talent evaluators/developers in the country

consistently falling in the same position in your division as to where you recruit seems to argue that. Since Mullen has been here you've average 5th in the west and half of those years there were only 6 teams in the division. You out recruit at least one SEC west team every year. Where do you come to this conclusion other than your bias and reading of Elite Dawgs?

Its really not hard to see.

11th in recruiting rankings over the past 5 years

6th in actual results

His teams outperform their perceived talent level more than any other team on that list. Pretty Simple.

Why are you comparing what you did against the whole SEC when the whole SEC doesnt compete against itself? Why not use divisional comparisons given you play those teams every single year? Oh wait, because it completely correlates recruiting rankings to wins and disproves your statement. You would have to say, "Mullen evaluates and develops better than the majority of teams in the East, while he's on par with the teams in the west" for your point to be correct.

Does it, though? How many times has UGA even won the East over the past five years? How often is A&M a top five team in the conference?

Vandy just beat Georgia last year, for Christ's sake.

It reaffirms that Bama is far and away the best team in the conference -- that's it.

To be fair to UGA, they've had some rotten luck with injuries and turnover these last few years. Obviously every team is going to have hardships, but UGA seems to be bitten a bit more than most lately.

State just whipped y'all asses 55-20 and then again in recruiting and you're about to have a nuclear bomb dropped on your program. Why are you talking shite again?

In the 4 years Bert has been at Arkansas he has finished ahead of you and behind you twice in recruiting, yet the past two years finished ahead of you in standings. Using your basis, Bert develops and evaluates better than Mullen. Point is still stupid. Mullen is a good coach, he's not Peterson, Patterson, Synder, or Dantonio

Im not "talking shite". This has nothing to do with Ole Miss. I didint come in here and say OM is 11th in S&P over the past 4 years and try to use that as some "suck my coaches dick please" statistic. Im disproving his comment that has no factual basis with facts.

When you factor in that Ms State plays in the West it gets even funnier.

At the QB position he is exactly correct. Dak Prescott and Nick Fitzgerald prove him correct. Fitz had one single D1 offer besides State, UT Chattanooga. To turn that guy in his first year starting into the nation's leading total yardage QB the last 8 games of the season and almost breaking the All-Time SEC record for rushing yards for a QB in a season is damn impressive. Call a spade a spade. Dan Mullen is a QB developing demigod. He isn't nearly as successful developing the other positions on the field though.

Yeah. And if he said that I would absolutely agree. He's got the best QB track record in the league and one of the best in the country and does it with underrated guys. He can spot and develop QB's.

What is the expected season outcome of #2 roster with #12 HC? Seriously, if you reach ten wins I will be shocked. You couldn't do it with "equal" talent to Bama and the greatest generational player of our time.

Save yourself the disappointment man.

We have like 2 players left on the roster from the 13 class I believe.

1 left (Reggie Chevis) from 2013. I don't count Mastrogiovanni

9 left from the 2014 class.

20 left from the 2015 class.

20 left from the 2016 class.

Technically Ford is part of the overall 2013 class.

This is why Richt be gone.

You are right, it's not all about recruiting, but it does start with recruiting.

Kirby's first class eclipses anything Richt put together. Star-wise.

Time will tell if Kirby and Co can coach them up to win a championship.

I think they will, but I'm a homer.

The 2013 class was a black hole. We had 1 senior contributor who wasn't a liability last season and he was a grad transfer from Alabama (also the only senior player with a ranking of 94+ last season).

We are trading that type of senior leadership for the 2014 class (who was basically the team leaders last season anyway).
Results should improve despite the OL not being fixed until 2018.

I'm not really a coach. I'm just a talent monitor.
