Good call, I forgot about Hargrave. I still see Carter filling his shoes nicely though.

Yeah, I don't understand his reasoning. Ramik Wilson should be ranked higher.

I think he's about where he should be. Don't get me wrong, he's a fine player. I just don't think he's elite. Strong fundamentally? Yes. Is he a game changer? No.

All these ESPN position rankings are written by different people, and some of the individual rankings and group rankings don't really jive.

For example, Arkansas has the #2 DE and the #7 DT, but they ranked our D line 12th in the league.

Gurley said on video this offseason "You can never get away from that boy Ramik"

I'm a simple man.

When Gurley says he can never get away from Linebacker X, then I'd say Linebacker X is pretty damn good.

In this case, linebacker X is Ramik Wilson.

that list is shite.. Both Bama LB's are too high. Jenkins should be ahead of both.

Cassanova McKinzy ought to be on the list...he deserved that from his play last year IMO. Now he has been moved to the middle and coaches say he is the most improved player on D. He is going to be a terror.

LSU is stacked at LB. The awesome LB class of a few years ago has grown up

Kwon has always been a stud, and I always thought Debo Jones deserved more playing time. If we have those guys roaming the outside with either Lamar Louis or hopefully Kendall Beckwith at the inside, that would be a pretty awesome LB corp....

Unfortunately, what will happen is Kwon will have weakside, Lamar Louis strong side, and Welter in the middle. Its not what I beleive to be the best lineup, but whatever, I trust the mad hatter and Chavis I guess.

That would hint at him being fundamentally strong and a great tackler. I just don't think he's a game changer. I really like him, I just don't think he's an Alec Ogletree or Odell Thurman kind of talent.

UGA has a very good LB core this year (the 4 starters + couple of very talented depth guys in Carter and Kimbrough). Also Ramik Wilson should be ahead of Jenkins.

Chris Low has 3 Georgia LBs in his top 10 yet decided to rank Georgia 3rd at LB in his position rankings, behind Bama and LSU.

I thought that was odd too. Perhaps he figures the depth favors Bama and LSU.

The articles say both were written by Low, at least.
