I know. It's unfortunate that Auburn is no longer a big game for us

Been to all the SEC stadiums except for Florida, Kentucky, and Missouri.

Been to Alabama, Georgia, and LSU multiple times.

I can't speak much on pregame festivities, but in terms of inside the stadium, here's what I've got, in order:

Auburn
LSU
Georgia
Texas A&M
Alabama

Obviously my sample size for Auburn is astronomically higher than any of the others, but I haven't been anywhere that has topped:

2006 Florida
2010 LSU
2010 Georgia
2013 Georgia
2013 Alabama

Although the 2007 Georgia game comes close. That game still gives me Soulja Boy-related nightmares.

Arkansas, Ole Miss, and Mississippi State were embarrassments. Vanderbilt had a better environment for the 2012 game than any of those.

Leaving out my own school, my favorite other would have to be Auburn.

5) Vandy

I love Vanderbilt obviously, but above Auburn? I definitely don't see VU as a top 5 "atmosphere". Hell, I get annoyed at our fans for lack of energy. The fact that years past had the stadium half-full of visiting fans added to that.

Taking out the homerism and being completely objective, it has to be the school with the longest home winning streak.

where does the SECCG rank as far as atmosphere's go?... probably top 5 in the SEC imo... especially when it's top 5/10 teams like the last several years.

I think games at the Dome almost always have a great atmosphere. Maybe that'd be different if I went to NFL games all the time there, but the atmosphere is always buzzing and it is pretty loud. SECCG, kickoff, CFA Bowl, they're all really fun.

I'm the only one here qualified to give an honest, unbiased, answer ... so here goes.

These are according to stadium in-game atmosphere, tailgating, tradition, etc.

1 - LSU ... Saturday nights, period.

2 - The Swamp (when it is rockin')
3 - Sanford (when it is rockin')
4 - Jordan Hare (when it is rockin')
5 - Williams-Brice (when it is rockin')

Honorable mentions:

6t - Bryant-Denny (when they are not bored, when they are pushed, when their students are in it, etc.)
6t - Neyland (when it is full and rockin' ... but the memory is fading)
7 - Vaught-Hemmingway (Saturday afternoon games, when it is rockin')
8 - DWR R-back (when it is rockin' on a Saturday night, and they are playing well and the game means something.)

Been to every stadium in the SEC multiple times (except for the noobs) and those are honest assessments above.

Now, with regard to Mizzou ... heard it was lulz. Loudest they got during our entire game was when it was announced that the Cards had won their playoff game.

Looking forward to going to College Station for a game two seasons from now if the Lord is willin' and the creek don't rise.
