Ole Miss doesn't have as much talent as everyone thinks and that's pretty much all they have.

1. Lol, we have an insane amount of talent. Our problem is we lack talent at two positions: OL and RB.

2. That's all we have?!?! Your coach averages ONE frickING SEC win a year. El Oh El

Ole Miss is starting a new QB who tore it up at the JC level but might have to wind up to game speed in the SEC. Cam did it yes, but he had a very potent rushing attack to lean on. Ole Miss hasn't shown that.

Bo was able to transistion just fine three years ago and Chad is incredibly more talented than Bo. Will he be better? That's yet to be seen, but raw talent...Chad is light years ahead

That's kind of a big deal.

Their JUCO numbers are nearly identical.

With the machine gun quote...Chad has eclipsed Bo on Douchitivity.

Sorry, I meant depth at OL, because we have a legit starting OL.

But yes, it's a huge deal and it's the reason we lost 4 games last year and unless Akeem Judd or Eric Swinney break out at RB, it'll hurt us again. That doesn't take away from the fact that we are incredibly more talented at every other position on the field than Arky and Mizzou. OM and UT are pretty similar. I think that just falls on Dobbs vs Swag

I really can't argue with Jones being ranked below the other coaches at this point. I'm not sold on his coaching ability yet, but to be fair, he's had a dumpster fire to work with so far.

This is the first year where Tennessee will have comparable talent to the rest of the SEC, but we're still gonna be relying on freshmen a lot this year. The "we are young" excuse will not work with Tennessee fans much longer.

I really like to know how Mizzou has more talent

QB-Mizzou
RB-Arky
WR/TE-Arky
OL-Arky

DL-Mizzou
LB-Mizzou
DB-Mizzou

If say it's pretty close.

Your defensive ranking is wrong. We had a top 10 D in the country last year and we return 8 starters. Our seconday was one of the better ones in the SEC and we return everybody

You also lost your 3 best players. Really, the only standouts you had.

I'll disagree. We are better at every position group on D.

How do u know? Spaight was a 2* recruit. Scheme is the difference and Robb Smith is proving his worth.

It's not like we lost elite draft picks. Solid players but nothing that isn't replaceable

Know? Of course I don't know, and you don't need to lecture me on recruiting rankings. I'm a Mizzou fan.

Just my opinion.

"Talent" is such a subjective word. It's usually used to refer to skill positions such as WR and QB and carries a connotation of "raw talent".

Our QB won't wow anyone on paper but he's a solid QB, 5th year senior with a lot of experience. I know he sucked the year before last and I was the first one to criticize him...until I found out he was playing with a separated shoulder the entire season and basically practicing on saturdays. The strength of our team is O-line, D-line, TEs, DBs. I think our secondary is going to surprise some teams next year.

UT and OM have unproven QBs. Mauk vs Allen, idk. Mauk is inconsistent sometimes and Allen was hurt when we played them. Probably a tossup.

Mauk takes bigger risks and makes bigger plays. Allen is much more conservative but has few ints.

Coaching I think Pinkel and Bielema are top notch. I give the edge to Mizzou here because he's proven.

Schedules, Mizzou and UT have the easier road with vandy and uk so they have a better chance of winning the east.

Its an informed opinion, but its still an opinion. Nobody "knows" until the games start.

DL-Mizzou over Arky. Just the way it is.
LB-Mizzou over Arky and there isn't an argument to the contrary.
DB-This would be the one spot where you have an argument, but we have two Sunday guys at CB (one a possible first rounder). A 3 year starter at FS, and the most athletic safety we've ever had at SS.

You can pretend you "know". I wont.

Outside of Arkansas Fans i haven't seen anyone that would take Allen over Dobbs as their starting QB going into 2015.

We'll have to completely disagree on this one.

Dobbs is being mentioned in almost every publication coming out as one of the best up amd coming QBs in the country. I haven't seen Allen mentioned in one.
