Has he even been an all conference WR yet?

What does that have to do with my NFL pro-bowl statement?

Why are you using the past tense when that draft is 15 months away?

Watch out for Nate Brown for Mizzou, going to explode next season.

Typically Pro Bowl WRs perform at an all conference level in college

The honest to God truth is that De'Runnya has way more upside than Treadwell at this point.

Bigger, better athlete, more room to develop his skills, less injury prone.

This is about a Rivals/247/Scout ranking and nothing else.

I can buy that.

Treadwell also has 10x the upside that cooper does. Stats don't equate to everything obviously.

This is the dumbest thing I have read in a long time. He may have better size, hand or whatever, but more versatile? Are you serious?

More versatile than the guy who play WR,RB, Wilscat, QB, returns punts, throws Touchdowns etc etc.

You can argue talent or prototypical WR size all day, but to say he or anyone really is more versatile than Cooper just makes you seem uninformed.

That's cool. IMO Treadwell is more versatile and athletic than Cooper.

I don't think we are going to come to a consensus but I believe Cooper is more versatile than Treadwell b/c of stats on top of receiving stats.

Cooper's stats outside of receiving
27 rushes
200 rushing yards
7.4 avg
70 long
2 rushing TD's

5 Completed Passes
8 Attempts
62.5% Completions
78 passing yards
30 long
2 Passing TD's

15 Punt Returns
75 Yards
0 TD's
0 KO Return yards in 0 attempts

Treadwell's stats outside of receiving.
2 rushes
-7 rushing yards
-3.5 avg
0 long
0 rushing TD's

No Passing stats for him in '14

1 KR
3 yards

This is what they are ranking ^^^^. Not upside. Hopefully he can reach all this upside soon.

Let's remember that Duke Williams missed nearly 4 games, played in a primarily run-dominated offense and also had to share already limited targets with Sammie Coates.

I think if he would've played more, it would be fair to say his stats would've been better, but you can't really say how much. He could've played in those 4 games he missed and had low performing stats.

I am not going to argue over an opinion. If you think Cooper is better and more versatile, good for you. I don't have a dog in this hunt anyway. I still think that Treadwell has a better ceiling and can be used in a lot more situations than Cooper

Maybe you missed where he compared D Wilson's upside to Treadwell's?

I understand what the point of the thread is.

I'm sure you're okay with people having similar discussions in here though.

Cooper/SC played against as Top 25 Total Defenses than either Auburn or Ole Miss (including the #1 Total Defense.) Your argument is flawed.

De'Runnya is certainly growing as a receiver. He had 25 catches for 313 yards in his last 3 games. (Bama - 8, Ole Miss - 8, GaTech - 9)

I don't know what he would have done, but I do know Auburn thoroughly missed him the rest of the Texas A&M game, against Georgia, against Wisconsin and he could have gotten even more stats against Samford. Auburn went 1-3 in those games and we saw what Duke Williams did against Alabama, Arkansas, Kansas State and Mississippi State.

In the end, Pharoh Cooper had a marvelous season and a better season than Duke Williams and LaQuon Treadwell, although we have to take into consideration the time both players missed.

For 2015, Ole Miss and South Carolina have question marks at quarterback while Auburn is returning what appears to be a future star. If Duke Williams can stay healthy and out of trouble, he will likely be the most dominant SEC wide receiver in 2015.
