Really, there's no particularly empirical way to rank them except to say Vandy definitely belongs in the bottom two. No way to deny that. UK could give us a run for our money, depending on the season. UK is more fair-weather than us in bad seasons because they always have basketball, but they probably come out in strength more than we do during good seasons. Probably just a function of the relative sizes of our student bodies and alumni base.

Who cares about student sections unless you're actually college-aged? Most of their season tickets are subsidized and they contribute almost nothing to the AD. Their parents are the ones that matter.

Well, they do tend to be the most boisterous and enthusiastic bloc, which helps pump up the team and, almost as importantly, impress the recruits on their visits.

All I know is two years ago Saban chose to play his overtime possession on the side away from our student section because it was too loud he. Chose the side of the stadium with triple the amount of ppl lol
