I could live in all the SEC states though with the right living and job situation

I agree with this. I just happen to prefer LA, TN, and TX.

As of now. The only places in the south that I'd consider moving to, would be New Orleans, Mobile, or Austin.

I lived our worked regularly in every sec state except Mississippi. Other then the three mentioned, it would take a ridiculously high paying job to get me to move back south.

Has the law changed? I just know that's what I was told, when I asked, while driving through Chattanooga back in 2009.
But, actually, I was just in GA back in March, for a memorial of Southern flight 242 that crashed in New Hope.

No offense to Razorback fans, but I'd much rather live in Alabama than Arkansas. Or Mississippi for that matter.

Yes. Like I said I believe it's up to individual cities (maybe counties? Not actaully sure on that..) but I do know that for at least 5 years or so it's been possible to buy on sundays.

I think when the law was FIRST passed in the state you could only buy at restraunts (or something similar to that). Over time it's grown to where you can buy anywhere you just have to wait til 12:30.

Good to know
So GA would certainly move up for me then.

Rather live on 30A. Not really anywhere else in Florida though. Thread didn't say cities, and 30A is where I want to retire to.

I don't take offense, I wouldn't want to live in Arkansas at all if I wasn't in Little Rock or the northwest

Exactly, my list is not really the states in general, but specific locations in that state.

Aaaaaah that makes perfect sense. I guess I originally thought in my head you meant like tampa or orlando or something and I was extremely confused.

Parts of each state I love and parts I hate. I love living in Atlanta and have no desire to leave. In terms of places I just enjoy.....

- Coastal South Carolina (Beaufort, Fripp, Helena Island)
- Atlanta (not the suburbs, the city, ITP, etc)
- Gulf Coast (West FL, ALA, MS, New Orleans)
- Nashville
- The NC/SC Appalachian areas between Asheville and Greenville
- Savannah, GA
