298, McFadden had more passing yards then Dick that day. Dick blocked better that day then he did in the passing department.

Uh, more than passing yards?

It was a rhetorical question. Dick was awful the whole year, but that didn't stop them from winning the west. I don't see how LSU "squeaking by" on the road is supposed to be a bad thing

If I need to spell it out for you, why do you think that's relevant?

Oh, I was actually curious myself

Well, it was actually Mitch Mustain that played a signicant part of the year. He wasn't great but played better than Dick

Never said it was

You didn't, other dude did, but the post was basically a dig at LSU losing to Casey Dick. Well when you run for 300 yards a game, its a little different. LSU lost in 2007 because they had no answer for Darren McFadden. They squeaked by in 2006 for the same reason. And the 2008 LSU team was just bad and they lost that game by just straight up choking it away.

Ok, because my post was a dig at Casey Dick more than anything else. If your running back has more passing yards than your QB then your QB might be having some issues.

I was responding to a hog poster who was responding to an LSU poster who was miffed at a hog poster having LSU's staff farther down his list than said LSU poster thought they should be.

Oh. I was pandering to another Razorback fan in hopes of making an Internet buddy so I don't feel so bad about my life.

Sorry, I meant I think Miles would do similarly as Bert. He'd be a good coach but it would take time. I didn't mean same results as he's had at LSU.

I don't think that Miles is that much better of a coach, but to argue that they are in the same tier makes no sense when you look at accolades alone. I'm not around for the day-to-day l to know what type of in game coach either really are, and none of us are. So really all we have to go off of is their records.

Oh, gotcha. Ya, I think that is very fair. I even think you can make an argument that would be doing a little better. You are never going to get me to say Bert is close to the recruiter Miles is.

Miles is arguably a top two or three recruiter in the country. He's basically highly paid to get good players. I will say Bert's ability to run the offense that Miles wants to run is a check mark on Bert's side. Miles' offensive woes really tarnish his rep.

Honestly I think I've been more impressed with Arkansas' rush D against teams that love to run. Now the Pass D is a different story.

We're all hoping we have a pass rush this year, aren't we? That'll do a lot to determine what kind of defense and season we have. If no better than last year, we'll turn some mediocre QB's into all Americans.

It seems like the Dline and WRs are our deepest/best positions at the moment. I think the Oline scares me the most though.
