assuming Ole Miss and A&M hold their late leads
MAGIC NUMBERS
Magic Numbers are numbers of wins + Florida losses needed to win the SEC Championship.
Florida 5 (wins only, control own destiny)
Texas A&M 6
South Carolina 7
Mississippi State 7
Ole Miss 8
LSU 8
Vanderbilt 9 (eliminated with one more loss to Florida)
With five games to go, Florida is holding on to a 1/2 game lead over A&M. South Carolina is a full game back, and State is a game and a half back.
Ole Miss and LSU are 2 1/2 back, and Vanderbilt is 3 1/2 games back.

Kentucky is really hurting us. Not as bad as we're hurting us though

you post shite like that when lsu is irrelevant. the teams that ARE relevant in the championship race kinda hope your team can help them out next weekend against florida. but we wont count on it. might as well go ahead and hand the gators the championship now.

I wasn't referring to my team, as far as winning the overall SEC championship. I was talking about your team, and state college. Ole Miss is technically in the race for the west, with A&M coming up next weekend.

just hope your team keeps winning, lil bro. cause if they slip, they will be in 3rd place in the west with the quickness.

I know I'm getting a little math nerdy but this isn't right. You can't calculated a magic number for anyone but the 1st and 2nd place teams.
For instance, if MSU wins their last 5 and UF loses 2, they are not guaranteed to win since it would depend on what A&M or SC does. Thus the calculation is impossible (especially with this many teams involved)
For teams not in 1st/2nd, the only real thing you can calculate is the TRAGIC NUMBER
Tragic numbers are wins by the leading team + losses by the trailing team that result in elimination of the trailing team

If that happens you can hang yet another banner. Ole Miss finally made it to Omaha for the first time since I've been born and your talking points have been "We've been to Omaha more recently than Miss State." Do you idiots even realize how dumb that is?
You made it to Omaha what, the year after our last visit? If MSU tanks for 30 years you might have a winning record over us. That equates to how long it took you to sniff Omaha lol.

Seems like somebody doesn't like Ole Miss.
