Actually yeah I missed one. 1962 Ole Miss went undefeated I think. It was '60 or '62.
Both, but they tied a game in 60.

Just curious, not a flame.

Didn't Kentucky basketball get the "death penalty" back in the 50's as well?

I thought there was 2 years when Kentucky didn't have a basketball team. I may be wrong

Dunno about UK.

I know the probation in 1958 was the same as what we were given probation for in the 1957 season, but from what I have read, the voters were pissed at and tired of AU because we won it the year before during probation, so we were not even really in the running in 1958 though we were as good as anyone and finished our second straight season with no loses.

I know that ole miss didn't win either the AP or UPI Title in '60 or '62.

Sounds about right, just think no one cared about basketball back then and yet there you have Kentucky cheating.

I'm pretty sure that in the early '50s Kentucky got the Death Penalty. It was only for a year or two, but I am pretty sure it happened. I think a Kentucky fan told me once that it was for a point shaving scandal or something like that
