Maybe I exaggerated a little, regardless, there are probably 200 that include multiple sets and patterns. Players have to take time to learn them. MSU and Auburn play in the 2nd game. I seriously doubt that the offense will be fluid that quick. Especially rotating the OL from spread blocking to a more pro style blocking scheme. Lineman must now be much more physical. Are your OL already capable of that after using a much softer block scheme in a spread?

You guys are showing your obvious unknowing of how offenses work or maybe just lack of knowledge about the sport you seem to boldly proclaim.

Yes, one that has started in the past and is a much better QB than our prior one.

ROFL. Have you watched Auburn play? Even when we ran the spread it was a down hill rushing attack. There was no "soft blocking". Now when Franklin was the OC in '08 that was soft blocking, and they still turned it around for a solid rushing attack in '09.

It's not as big as an adjust as you're thinking it will be. They're not going all out "pro style". It will be more of a multiple look if anything. Several of the players have already said it will most likely be 50/50 with spread and under the center formations.

Spread- the OL has zone blocking

You do know your offenses right?

So this means that instead of getting after a man and being physical. He backs off and defends his zone. Basic spread stuff.

Yeah you do not know what you are taking about. We are going to be running the same man blocking scheme. Lefty and Gus' blocking scheme are similar. Runing the ball will not be an issue. Plus we are upgrading player on the Oline, no more Matador Green at LT.

The biggest differene is qb. We are not shotgun all the time now. QB will be under center, learning 3,5,7 step drops.

And we have to be ready for Clemson before Moo St. You know the old saying "A team improves most from week 1 to week 2" that is not good for Moo St.

Except Auburn didn't run zone blocking. I do know my offense. Did you watch the games?

You have me there. To be honest didn't watch Auburn much

Assumed since yall ran a spread you used zone blocking like nearly all spread teams.

more likely MSU beats AU, no doubt... on the road, MSU coming off a Thursday game, we're playing Clemson to open... we'll be lucky to get outta there with a win, IMO.
