I agree with Aubie winning both games. As to OM vs MSU, you have the worst team in the SEC against the historically worst team. Outside of Mississippi, who cares?

Still trying to grasp how a team with two new coordinators, a defense that has no playmakers minus a few DL and an offense with that will be going from a spread to a pro style offense, will be so improved that it will beat a team it only beat by 7 points. On the other the hand the team that got beat loses a shite QB, a very good RB, and a first round DT. But returns the majority of the team and will have improvement on both sides of the ball because of this. We get a QB upgrade by losing our prior one. We also now have 3 RB's that are more then capable of taking over where the prior one left off. I can keep going but I'll stop here..

What exactly does MSU have going for them compared to us? I would love to hear. Our conf record last year was 4-4 what was yours?

Just for this upcoming year who do you think has a better chance of beating who. Ole Miss beating MSU or MSU beating Auburn?

I think State will beat Auburn and Ole Miss this year.

Are you sure about this? Relf was effective at times. Russell wont bring anywhere near the running ability that Relf had

We were 2-6 but we are improved everywhere. Our losses came to all ranked teams minus yall. And we should have beat yall. Yall can't possibly improve much based on two new coordinators. Yall will still be implementing an entirely new offensive and defensive schemes. Our Defense will be in the Top 4 or 5 in the SEC at least this year. Not to mention we have a capable QB with an improved OL and 4 senior WR's , and 3 RB's that could start anywhere else in the SEC minus Arkansas, LSU, and USC.

True, but our backup has more running ability than Relf had. He isn't the bruiser Relf was but is significantly quicker and more shifty, from a guy that is within 10lbs of Relf's size...

Three very good RB's will make up for Relf. Relf throw for nothing hence defenses bringing 8 in the box almost every down. Russell is mobile enough to run when he has to, this coming from our own coaches mouth. Russell has a huge arm and with an improved OL can really light it up and will open the running game.

Oh yes we can. Our O scene is a mix with spread and pro. And it ain't that hard as you making it sound.

Auburn wins because of the fact that Auburn no longer has Ted fricking Roof for a DC.

That last factoid alone equals victory in more than a few games this year. Roofs D was so pathetic last year we got beat by 30 points on 3-4 occasions last year and plain gave up against UGA and LSU.

That shite is OVER. Back to Auburn football. We also have more defensive depth than we've had in several years.

I wouldn't like our chances against Auburn late in the season after everything "gels" in the new system. The fact that it's early, with new qb, and new schemes/coordinators helps our odds.

We've got almost full continuity, outside of right tackle(a position that worries the heck out of me with Russell's breakability and Auburn's stud DE's). Outside of this game, I love how our early schedule sets up, getting these guys a good bit of experience before the storm hits in late Oct/November.
