In the late 60s Bear Bryant saw the Wishbone/option was the future of offenses in college football (at least at the time), so he decided to run it at Alabama and produced some of Alabama's most successful offenses ever. I would assume he would do the same thing with the HUNH.

I think he would too. One advantage of this is in practice the D would get used to pace, finding their spot quickly, making adjustments quickly.
