The TV coverage for both Big 8 and Big 12 games was a joke.

I think that the exposure that Mizzou gets being in the SEC is awesome. And I can watch their games even out here in California.

This is true, we want your SEC money and exposure. So due to the current state of affairs: SEC > B1G > Big 12. But I feel nothing toward most of you.

With kU being so abysmal at football and Nebraska off to the B1G, it makes sense. They don't really have a regional rival in football anymore.

Never really thought of that. Who exactly would they consider a rival these days (other than obligatory KU)? Iowa State?

I mean they lost Mizzou, Colorado and Nebraska.

K State knows that if something shifts in the world of conference realognment, they're one false move from the Mountain West/WAC/MVC along with Iowa State.

Yeah but when that Mountain West Network money rolls in they will be flying high.

SEC
Big 8
Big 12
Big 10

SEC well ahead of Big 8 which would be my second choice.

SEC - Love the SEC.
Big 8 - Reasons of nostalgia.

B1G / XII - Both suck but at least with the B1G Network I'd be able to see all the games.

The fricking Indians didn't want the Yankees here either, but we kicked arse and moved into their house.

It's the same here. Embrace the hate. Be the villain. Stick a carpetbagging thumb in their inbred uni-eye.

Hard to compare. Things are a lot different now with the TV coverage and upgraded facilities. I have a lot of nostalgia for the Big 8, but we also could go a few years and not be on TV. Without the internet, there wasn't much exposure other than reading an article in the paper here and there.

If the Big 8 re-formed today, we'd have to deal with Pelini. Pelini is an ape. Nebraska football fans wear white pants. Colorado is a mess. ku is actually improving in football. OU is beatable. Mizzou would be the best for now.

Eh, who gives a frick?

Look, Missouri isn't about to abandon its historic Battle Line rivalry with the University of Arkansas.

Its probably the best rivalry in the nation, tbh.

I submit that we steal a Walmart buggy from the store on Nifong, paint it with gold spray paint and wheel that bad boy into Faurot in a couple weeks.

I endorse this as the official trophy of our series.
