Stay in the SEC. Better recruiting footprint and better schedule for football.

Not sure why Missou would move it gave a boost to the academic prestige and they have dominated most years

Not interested. I would enjoy playing Illinois again, but that's about it. Nebraska historically beat the shite out of us and recruited the best players from Missouri so not too interested in that rivalry being resurrected. The SEC is preferable for football in just about every single way. Nicer weather, better recruiting, on average better college towns (though I'd clearly visit Madison, WI over Starkville), and best of all, more money.

Ideally Missouri would have stayed in a financially viable Big 8 while Arkansas and A&M did the same in a financially viable SWC.

However, with the changing landscape of college football, both of those conferences were doomed. Which is a shame because they were both great conferences with great rivalries.

The Big 12 is a poor substitute for the Big 8, especially with Texas calling the shots. The SEC is about as good a fit for those three schools as you are going to find now.
