If the BIG 10 came calling and said that Notre Dame had agreed to be their 15th member, and they wanted you to fill out their league at 16, would you rather be in the BIG 10 or stay in the SEC?

Obviously one of the biggest draws to that scenario would be gaining back your rivalry with Nebraska. But you'd also become more closely centered to the heart of the league... bordering Nebraska to the West, Iowa to the North, and Illinois (which includes Northwestern) to the East.

1+5+0+0 = 6

The number of Satan.

Also the number of teams that should be in each division.

The numbers are all around us.

Fitting, if Satan wasn't so powerful.

All 1000 that travel to SEC away games are thankful for that, I suppose.

I don't doubt that there's some who would do this...mainly the hardcore academics, but hell no. I, and most of my friends, are really happy in the SEC.

As are the players and staff. The rust belt is not a fun place to visit.

I mean if notre dame were going to join the big 10 Missouri wouldn't be team 16, think Texas or uva. The sec would make a play for unc and duke or ou but nd will never join the big 10. The better question is if Kansas joined the big 10 would Missouri join?

Fair enough. That wasn't too much of a knock on Missouri as it was a point.

Y'all are really far from most of the SEC. I wouldn't travel to most games either unless they were big matchups.

I would help them pack their bags just like I would with these liberals that lied and said they were moving to canada.

Seems far, but not too bad. besides, we boarder 3 sec states.

From STL: Vandy, Uk, Ole Miss, Arky, MSU, Bama, and UT are shorter drives than all but kansas, KSU and fricking Ames Iowa.

No. A rivalry means both teams win games. Our record against the Nubs is horrible. Georgia is the only team in the East we have a horrible record against. And we could have won 3 of the 4 games we lost.

Plus Notre Dame is similar to Texas. You really do not want to listen to their crap all day long.

True. We would be gaining back our rivalry with Illinois too and the Big 10 does generate more revenue than the SEC.

Well I like a lot of Mizzou fans wished for the Big 10 for years.....UNTIL we knew the SEC was an option. Much rather play SEC teams and visit SEC venues/stadiums/cities than Big 10.

frick KU. Mizzou isn't going anywhere to join them. That's not incentive, that's a crazy ex you wish would go away.

Do you know we also border Kentucky, Tennessee, Vandy, Arkansas and we're like 50 miles from bordering Ole Miss and Mississippi St?

I'll give it a pass considering the education you had in the deep south growing up.
