Tigers are gonna go wildcat formation all night with Fournette, Guice, and Williams all in the backfield on every play. Gonna make history by beating the tide without attempting a forward pass. Fournette takes all the direct snaps.

Harris finna feast

Better word, yeah.
We're going to run it until their front breaks, which will be quick if they stick to their base.
If they don't commit to the run, Fournette will have a field day. If they do, it's on Harris to execute the play action and the receivers to win it.

Since LF is such a stud, I'm sure will try to break some of their tendencies to catch Bama off guard. The problem is Bama has a pretty good secondary and Harris won't be able to beat them.
LF will have to have the game of his life for LSU to win
BH6 did have "more-than-decent" success against the #1b secondary in the SEC (UF), with arguably best DB (VHIII). Albeit with some luck and a fair amount of improvisation (which is good in my opinion). Bama's is good, but not as good as UF's. So while LSU might find themselves behind the chains and less success as what was seen against UF, the game plan won't be revolving around "we can't throw against them".

I don't know if it's just the rant bravado, but LSU fans seem on average very confident about this game. True or am I misinterpreting?

well enough for 4 straight losses

Got to pass on 1st down if you want to win.

Same thing that beat them in 2011 and the same thing that Utah and OSU used--option. We wil run read from shot gun and regular from the I (full back diving one way and LF join the other). There will be inside toss and power in between, but the big runs will occur outside of the DEs after the LBs start one way and have to recover. Will also see some deep passes of PA
I am most excited out of running out of three and four wide receiver sets. Spread them LBs out and run it between the tackles. I think our power run success happens in these formations, not the TE sets.

UGA thought the same thing. Easier said then done. Good Luck!

This team is shaping up to be a much more variable and efficient offense than we usually have.
If you told me you just traveled back in time from two weeks in the future and that LSU lost, I'd guess that we had some serious special teams gaffes and the secondary had some coverage busts.
And in contrast, Alabama fans expect to hold Fournette to around 100 yards with their base package and that they'll be able to leave the safeties back.
So I don't know, you tell me who's plagued by a more inflated sense of confidence.

from what we've seen, we are confident that our team overall is better than bama's team, so unlike previous years when we either didn't have an offense or the defense was down, we are expecting to win.
That is giving bama all the respect they deserve, recognizing them as one of the top teams in the country and recognizing they could win this game.
it's going to be a good matchup. bama's strength - defense- against our strength - offense.
we also feel while our defense is not there with bama, it's damn good AND bama's offense is not as good as previous years.

Will come out throwing, first quarter will end 10-10, then LSU's offense goes into a shell.

What do you think your game-plan will be against Bama.
Just spit-ballin' here, but I think they will try to score more points than the red team does by the end of regulation play.

Of course Les will be conservative. He will try to run at 9 man fronts all day. Its just what he does. He'll probably try to sit on a 3 point lead again too.

Fournette's going to run somewhere in the ballpark of 200 yards
Harris will make some passes but he'll probably be slowed down some
Special teams will need to play well they can't do that bs they were doing against Florida

After the last 2-3 games I wouldn't be surprised to see playaction on 1st down here and there. But LF is undoubtedly going to get his 20-30 carries.
2nd and 3 or 4 though? LF 100% of the time.
