Dude lol, yal have hired the almighty Chavis. We have hired Steele.

So wait until we play before considering this a victory.

Cause we have kicked your arse since you all joined the league.

I know I'm 44 and cannot remember TAM winning shite.

You were always Texas' lil brother. Now you're our... beach.

Question for LSU fans about Steele
by texag7
Steele was 1-31 in conference while coaching at Baylor (4 years). Is this reflective of bad coaching or subpar recruiting in your opinion?

And in other news, From 1989 to 1994, Steele coached the linebackers at Nebraska. During his six years in Lincoln, the Cornhuskers went 60-11, appeared in six bowl games, won four conference championships and captured the 1994 national championship with a 13-0 record.
Both statements of past events have no bearing on what happens in Baton Rouge the next few years.

But it is with the deepest appreciation that you care so deeply.

Oh, and we just happen to have the 3rd winningest CFB HEAD coach in the country in the last decade, along with the top recruiting staff in the nation as well -with Miles, Wilson, Orgeron, Ensminger and uh, ummm, that defensive coordinator guy, what's his name???

Maybe you Aggies can help me, since you seem to know his name so well......

Recruiting has not been an issue for LSU for 12-15 years. Why the need for improved recruiting?

LSU's offense has been the weak link. If recruiting for offense is the objective, then you guys made the right moves.

We've seen our dline talent take a hit the past four years and LSU has never been known for their linebackers.

LSU is the only SEC team to ever have a 3,000 yd passer, 1,000 yd rusher, and two 1,000 yard receivers. A defense decimated by early entrants into the NFL combined with a terrible defensive coordinator resulted in a 34-10 victory over a reigning Heisman winner and two other first round picks

A&M's Holy offense put up 21 points on ULM at Ky Field after a bye week

The bye week was after A&M's Holy offense was shutout

Is recruiting a problem at LSU or not? Because if it is not, why hire good recruiters in stead of better coaches?

Progression of arguments:

1. You ain't getting Chief, aggy.
2. 3rd and Chavis. You paid way too much.
3. Chavis only succeeds (top 10 D) with good talent on D, which aggy does not have. Steele will be just fine on talent alone.
4. We hired steele and coach O for recruiting purposes. We had 500 players leave early for the NFL.
5. We don't need recruiting. We have shite-tons of talent.

We hired a much better LB coach and much better DL coach. It just happens that they are also much better recruiters than their predecessors as well.

A&M will fail to score 20 points on LSU for the 4th year in a row and will ultimately lose to LSU for the 5th year in a row.

This is too easy.
