Steele was 1-31 in conference while coaching at Baylor (4 years).

Is this reflective of bad coaching or subpar recruiting in your opinion?

Finally. A legitimate football discussion and not just some off season ridiculousness about pictures of towns or something completely unrelated to SEC athletics.

True. But all I've been hearing is how good a recruiter he is. You would think if this is true he could amass enough talent to win more than 1 conf game in 32 attempts.

Steele's failure at Baylor was a result of 3 things:
1. He is a bad football coach.
2. He is a bad recruiter.
3. Texas A&M is rich.

Is that the answer you are looking for?

Leave it to an LSU fan to bring Chavis into this thread

Probably both. Being a head coach is much different than being a coordinator though. If that's the route you want to take then we can say Steele is better than Chavis or Smart because he has more wins as a head coach than those two.

At what point do the admins just have a full blown purge of this place.

Steele is a great recruiter but not a good evaluator. His classes will always be ranked high, because he targets based on rankings.

Can someone start a retard board for posters like this? After living in CS for 3 years this fan base takes the cake as the most delusional fan base in the country and it's not even close.
