Can't say I always like LSU ( I was dog cussing LSU like crazy in the 3rd and 4th quarter) but I know when it's kickoff of Bama/LSU it's going to be a good hard fought fantastic game to watch and 99.9% clean (not a reference to JC Copeland, that wasn't smart but I don't think he's dirty...his emotions got the best of him)
It's the national go to/ must see tv game and has been for several years -why? because both teams understand, solid power 60 min football. That is easy to respect.
Colin Cowherd had it right today when he listed his top 10 and spoke about...just how difficult it is to win this game.

Good point. My feeling on all of it is that the BCS is supposed to pit the Top 2 teams together (NOT the best 2 in someone's opinion due to the "eye test"). If last year it was LSU/Bama as the 2 best teams, well, they played! The #2 team at the end of the season (based on resume) should have been OSU. I felt bad for them. It's not that Bama didn't deserve it but it never should have happened. Look at Auburn 2004...left out. It happens.

Dude just let the Alabama fans brag about stuff they didn't have anything to do with. I never understand why people trash talk about their teams when the person typing the message had ZERO to do with the outcome.

Why would I be angry? LSU pulled off a great feat in 2011 and did so against the toughest competition in the BCS era. I'm damn proud of my football team and am glad Bama has finally come back to relevance to compete at such a high level. I knew Saban would get ya'll there. He's a great coach.

How long are LSU fans gonna whine about this? Get over it already! Bama got in the game because everyone ahead of them lost. Much like LSU did in 2007 and I don't recall any of yall complaining about Miles campaigning on the premise that "we are undefeated in regulation". Did you also whine that Oklahoma shouldn't have been in the 2003 BCSNC game against LSU since they lost the Big 12 title game? Of course not, because LSU won that one. It's not that Bama was IN the BCSNC game last year, it's that they WON! I suppose you would have said LSU didn't deserve a rematch if 9-6 had been the other way? We both know the answer to that.
Now with respect to the LSU program...they have my respect and love the rivalry that's developed with Bama. There's no hatred towards LSU like with Tennessee and Auburn. Great tradition, great stadium, great fans (except the ones who keep whining about playing Bama on 1-9)
Miles may have won with Saban's players in 2007 but so what? He could have lost with them and it's hard to argue with his success since then. I would consider the programs 1 and 1a with the slight nod to Bama due to two BCSNC in the last three years. But the difference is minute and can easily swing back and forth from one year to the next. There are few other programs who can match Bama or LSU athlete for athlete and I don't see either one slipping in the near future. Easily the two best teams in CF in 2011 and with the game LSU played Saturday night, I believe the same can be said for 2012. Posted on 11/5/12 at 9:54 pm to BrasilBama

I am woman, thus emotional, can't deny it. But let's look at the entire season without dates...if WV and Missouri lost at the beginning of the season, they would have never been ahead of LSU. LSU was the best team that year (even with 2 loses). That is an undeniable fact as well.
