Dream scenario. State gets the death penalty and gets booted from the conference. Who do we bring in?

We were top 15 in two of the big three last year. Might wanna wait it out and see if it sticks. Basketball will be one of the better teams this year too. The rebs are the ones not bringing anything to the table at the moment. Anyways, I doubt the State thing is a "10," so I feel good about the rumors. I hope no one gets in trouble.

Auburn had a few players that just pissed me off when they chose Awburn over Arkiesaw and I want them to go down (if they did anything wrong)

frick that, I don't want any team to get sanctions. We haven't ever won the SEC and I sure as hell wouldn't want some program to be weakened before we could. We either beat teams at their best or we deal with. Almost every team cheats, some more than others, it's just something you have to deal with.

At the moment being the key word. We were second in the SEC in men's sports for the 08 and 09 seasons. Why would anyone want to get rid of Oxford, the Grove, or OM coeds?

People really do have such short memories.

I'm totally willing to accept that our football team won't be all that good this year, but when people talk about Ole Miss (or really any school) as if we're going to struggle to win four games for the next fricking decade is pretty annoying.

We'll be back. Give it some time.

The thing is, Auburn is already "guilty" in the court of public opinion. The impact of new allegations hitting Bama or LSU would be much greater since they are seen as relatively clean programs. The impact will be especially great if it turns out to be Bama, and there's no need for me to explain that one.

Ohio State is my choice. I don't want any SEC teams to be put on probation. It's just bad for business.
