If he finishes 10-2, he's not only safe this year, but probably safe next year under any reasonable scenario. If he goes 11-1, he probably gets an extension.

If he goes 9-3, he will be back, but his seat will still be warm. 8-4 and only the only thing that would save him is the buyout (and it might).
