Question for A&M fans re: Sumlin

There's no way y'all fire Sumlin now, right? I know he was on the hot seat to start the season and some wanted him gone, but now that y'all appear to be in the drivers seat for second place in the west, there's no way he's fired, right?
I just want to know if I have to actively root for A&M the rest of the season or not.

I realize that there's a lot of football to be played, but I can't imagine A&M finishing worst than 3rd in the West.

Yep. Hes obviously just fine if he finishes strong, but we've been here before. Gotta show up to the games that matter down the stretch.

I agree, but I don't see 4 losses on the rest of A&Ms schedule.

I see probably two losses the rest of the way (Bama and one of UT or OM) with a decent chance of only one loss.

When the season started, I was thinking we needed to win every game except the following:
UT, Bama, OM, LSU
And we needed at least 1/3 from that group.
Sumlin is on track so far. I think he gets a pass regardless of what happens next year because his contract ends in 2018 anyway.

As of this moment Sumlin is in great shape. We had epic collapses the last 2 years though and transfers galore. A&M still has at least 4 very difficult games left with UT, Bama, Ole Miss, and LSU. The momentum appears to have shifted but it matters how you look in December and not September.
