Question about the Ole Miss SEC west co champs

I don't understand how they claim it. Can someone help me out here? They had the same SEC record yet LSU beat them head to head. LSU played in the SEC title as west champs. Something I'm missing?

It's stupid, but the SEC does recognize it. Apparently they even send you a trophy.

You can finish as co-champ (happens a lot) but the winner of the tiebreaker goes to Atlanta

Why start a new thread for this. It is already being discussed in the one where they are bragging about it. You sound upset about it. Most LSU fans laugh at them for having it up.

if the SEC wants to give them a participation ribbon, by all means.
but OM hanging it in their stadium is embarrassing, and I'm sure plenty of other OM fans agree. You just won't see them in this thread.
