Every once in a while there is an event that piques my curiosity on Bama reactions...

like this past weekend. So I try to tune in.

I can never make it through any random 5 minutes.

I don't get the appeal at all.

He got his fame via radio and it was basically a Bama show. He had enough idiots call in that he became syndicated and his base expanded. His is going to have to expand his viewer base some by including UGA, UK, UF, Mizzou, Arkie etc etc on his show. The endless droning of Saban and Bama wears thin.
He has his nose and tongue firmly up Sabans arse.

I'd take Tim Brando any day over Finebaum. I can remember people would talk shite on Brando. I loved his show. Wish the SECN would have picked him up.

Let me guess, he said something about Ole Piss that you didn't like?

I thought that, too.
I think the appeal of the show has less to do with Finebaum as it does a daily forum for all things SEC thats not the usual analystic bullcrap and coachspeak.

When they first added Finebaum's radio show here in Arkansas it seemed like he only ever talked about Alabama. Then they gave him his TV show and I realized he does only ever talk about Alabama.

Yeah, mostly true but it would make sense he would center his show(s) around BAMA because he's a opportunist and Bama HAS been the gold standard of the conference for a minute.

Personally IDK if he had daily wedgies from FB players in high school or he's just an entrepreneural genius BC he realizes fans of the SEC WILL WATCH his show because his format is unique.

His ratings thrive when the average citizens of Alabama call in. You get calls from people named "Tammy" earlier this week called into the show and started talking about her new sex toy she jams into her knot hole because she won't procreate with her husband due to auburn being a bad football team.

I can only assume you fall right in here with Tammy if you don't know why Finebaum is successful. I tune in and an auburn female fan with an extremely deep voice is talking about her new sex toy she got and that she has not got out of bed for 3 days. You bet your sweet arse I'm gonna tune in whenever I can. Solid gold on that show sometimes.....others not

He was a pretty good writer for the now defunct Birmingham Post. He saw the writing on the wall and jumped to radio and found he could bait Alabama and Auburn fans.

It has worked for him.

I've tried to watch or listen on the radio. It really is terrible when callers come on. Doesn't he have a law degree?

You pretty much sum up how I feel about him. No talent, not an expert, massive troll. I dont understand how people justify listening to him.
