It may or may not. But it sure doesn't hurt ones case. Les Miles has earned his popularity due to his track record on the field and he makes for good TV. But it isn't fair to the James Franklin's and the Kirk Ferentz's of the world.

I realize that, but name me a team in the past 5 years that hasn't gotten some type of commercial (ESPN or Gameday) after winning the national championship besides AU?
They have all had a promo for Gameday at least with the coach talking to Herb, Corso etc.
