My brother played fb at West Ga. And I spent a LOT of time there. The campus pd is a joke. A bunch of barney fife-esque clowns on major power trips. The carrollton city police are pretty good, but the campus clowns are just that... So who knows what REALLY happened

Well, we know he was driving on a license that had been restricted.

No, in the state of georgia, a driver under the age of 18 is issued a limited driving permit. This restricts when they can drive and who they can have in the car with them.

Our youngest daughter just turned 16 in July and she got one. At 18, I believe you can get another license with fewer restrictions, then at 21 you get the full regular license.

Bray must have never updated his permit once he got to be 18. Probably forgot about it and he goes to school out of state with very limited time.

When did they start doing this? Granted it was 15 years ago, but when I got my license, I was good to go.

This kid has had a difficult life His step dad killed his mother. His Grandmother is sick is West Georgia. Thus is minor stuff compared to even PI, much less rape,Drug procession, beating folks up or armed robbery. He was not drinking, no drugs.

How can driving at 11 PM with an open container make him a thug POS? When I was 19 if I were pulled over for this it would had been an empty open container found. Are you saying you have never driven around with radio loud at age 19?

If I'm not mistaken, a lot of states are doing this now. I know Alabama does. It happened after I was 21 (I think).

How can any self respecting southerner have Col Chamberlain of the 20th Maine as his avatar? Might as well put up old William Tecumseh Sherman as well.
