I feel more comfortable with Jennings because he seems to have better poise and control. Though after watching the improvements in their mechanics and reads, I wouldn't worry if either started.
We're just so absolutely loaded at the other 21 positions. We'd make the playoffs with Brandon Allen under center.

not expecting it but won't whine, piss, and moan like a 5 year old if it happens.

To be honest I think Les gives Harris the job jus so we can all shut the fvck up
I think that already happened once at AU last year. Nothing tells me it won't happen again.

AJ will start no matter what.

CLM can't recruit well enough to have a 3rd string QB to get some time when his starter is horrible...what does that say about his recruiting?

Both looked decent but to quote MM,they're still struggling with going through progressions.

I think both with get their legitimate shot in the fall. Neither man did anything to be named starter in the spring game- but neither did anything glaringly negative like throwing a pick 6, either....

Neither did anything to speak of against the #1 Defense. Of course that's not an indictment against them as they were limited by the weapons they were playing with. LSU's #1 defense looked to be very strong once again.

Everyone is focusing on the QB situation- but I agree about the defense. Steele and Coach O are going to have them rolling in the fall.

That sure helped against Arkansas, Miss St., and Alabama. I'd trade away poise for making plays any day. Trying to do something versus trying to avoid something. The offense did show improvement after the Arkansas game to be fair and Jennings did look more comfortable due to the changes made by Cameron to the play-calling.
He just didn't help the offense score enough. And that was improved but somewhat consistent in this Spring game as well against the 2nd team defense.
Poise and control (patience) without making enough plays will still get you 8-5 or 9-4 by letting teams you should probably beat hang around. Here's hoping that he's overcome the issue of too many three and outs or drives for FGs.
Assuming both QBs will be driving the Porsche (1st team offense) and not the Minivan (2nd team offense), I'd be very tempted to go with Harris per these observations from Nola:
Here are the stats breakdown on what each QB did Saturday:
Jennings: Played eight series, five with the White (first) team producing two touchdowns and a field goal, three with Purple team (producing no points). He completed a collective 13-of-20 for 242 yards and two TDs (8-for-14 for 215 yards and two TDs for the White, 5-for-6 for 27 yards and no TDs for the Purple). He rushed for a collective minus 11 yards, getting sacked three times for losses of 18 yards as the Purple QB.
Harris: He played eight series, three with the White (resulting in three TDs) and five with the Purple (one TD). He completed a collective 11-of-17 for 178 yards, two TDs, one interception (7-for-7 for 141 yards, two TDs for the White, 4-for-10 for 37 yards, one interception for the Purple). He rushed for a collective 24 yards on 10 carries, even without a beautiful 5-yard TD run on a naked bootleg that Miles ordered taken off the scoreboard because the defense was instructed not to hit Harris and Jennings.
LINK
Harris 3 series with the white and 3 TDs; other noteables: 1 int, 24 yds rushing and 1 TD taken off the board.
Jennings 5 series with the white and 2 TDs; other noteables: 3 sacks and minus 11 rushing.
Those 3 sacks could cost you 3 possessions depending on the down and distance and loss of field position.
On the other hand, the interception definitely cost you a possession and field position depending on where it occurs.

I'm going with Jennings. I didn't like Harris' balls in the spring game. He got bailed out by Chi and Charknado on some pretty bad throws and finally got one intercepted by Toliver. Jennings threw the ball more accurately and overthrew to the outside instead of underthrowing to the inside like the long ball Chark caught. There's definitely a running element that Brandon excels at but his deep ball placement is lacking.
This has to be a troll.

Rotating the D-linemen on a regular basis should pay huge dividends come fall.

This is a serious question by the way. Based on the Spring Game performances, how would you feel if Les Miles started AJ over Harris? Or are you already expecting that to happen?
I'll give you a different answer. Last season AJ stunk and BH was too green to hand the team over to. What is missing from this discussion is that the receivers sucked too despite having some "names" out there.
What I got out of the Spring game is that all of them under-performed last season and all have made tremendous improvement since the end of the season. It does not do any good to have a great QB if the receivers cant get open or catch and vice versa.
If LSU's QB's can deliver the ball on the money you guys in this league do not have the speed to cover Travin Dural outside, Malachi Dupree at slot, and DJ Chark at other wideout. All three of these guys showed the ability to catch the ball with guys hanging on them and to get open deep. This is what I saw in the SG and about wet my pants. Then add Tyron Johnson and Dante Jackson to this mix.... yyyyeeeoooowwww!
We could all be deceived but Desean Smith looks like he could have an "OJ Howard" year at TE if they will throw him the ball.
