Of course, that was probably because we were too busy winning the SEC championship that season to have to hang our hats on petty matters like unproven high school kids

Sure it is. Often though, some UGA fans I know IRL plus posters on this board have undue illusions of grandeur that just never seem to work out.

They're a dime a dozen in FL. Terry and Park were part of a nice run UGA was having at signing the Mr. Football in SC for a few years. For some reason, Park transferring for PT after a year vindicates the Cock belief that they didn't get beat on the recruiting trail all those years.

I didn't skew the stats, the stats are what they are, that's why they're stats.

Yeah, yeah Eason is the 2nd comin of jeebus, we've heard. Park was the next Aaron Murray too. If you are depending on a true freshman to come help you as a QB in the SEC...you're screwed. Who was the last true FR QB to come in and dominate the SEC?
Also, in '16 y'all will lose both OT's who started the year before. SC's DE's gonna tear through your new OT's like Kobayashi.

Not at all. Tough break for the young man, I understand the situation. I've had a torn ACL and meniscus so I know how much it sucks.
I'm not making excuses for other posters/fans out there, but I can tell you I'd never be pumped to see an athlete get hurt.

The phenom is Jacob Eason and he's coming in next year...I think he's early enrolling this year but I'm not a huge recruiting expert.
Granted he could be a total bust or get a visit from an ole Miss bagman...but as of now he's supposed to be pretty damn good and will be poised to take the reins barring a great performance by one of our current guys.
